Dr. Dan Stambaugh
Dr. Stambaugh was raised to believe that trust, respect, and service to the community are keys to establishing lasting relationships. These relationships make his dental practice successful. He is extremely proud of his team’s commitment to taking care of their family of patients. This commitment is evidenced by their loyalty and longevity. Working together for this long allows Dr. Stambaugh and his team to provide cutting-edge dentistry and an unsurpassed knowledge-base upon which patients can rely. His practice philosophy is to treat patients like he’d like to be treated.
Dr. Stambaugh is a member of the Lane County Dental Society, the Exploring Excellence Study Club, the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association, and the Delta Sigma Delta dental fraternity. He has been published in Who’s Who in America and was voted one of "Eugene’s Best Dentists" in independent voting by his peers.
He is actively involved in supporting local schools and providing quality dental care at an affordable price.
Dr. Stambaugh was born in Oregon and has practiced dentistry for over 30 years. After graduating in 1985 from the University of Oregon, he attended Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. In addition, Dr. Stambaugh received training in Newport, Rhode Island, and San Diego, California. He was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy, where he practiced in Orlando, Florida. He gained experience working alongside specialists in all areas of dentistry in Naval Hospital Yokosuka Japan and Naval Hospital/Dental Center Whidbey Island, Washington.
He returned home to practice in Springfield, Oregon, where he and his wife, Susan, and their family have enjoyed providing dental care to the community since 1994.

I grew up in a dental office. My father was a beloved dentist in Central Point for 40 years. He ushered me into the dental world at the ripe age of 14 and I have been delighted to stay. I have been in the dental profession for over 35 years.
I consider working for Dr. Stambaugh and his lovely staff a privilege.
I have been happily married for 40 years. We have three children all married and successful in their respective fields. We have 6 grandchildren. We also have a very needy, yet lovable dog, Fin that still lives "at home". I adore them all.
Outside of work I enjoying hiking and kayaking, and spending time in our peaceful backyard with my husband and Fin. My craft is Bottle Art.
Paula
Dental Hygienist
Paula has worked as a dental hygienist for the past 44 years after earning her degree in dental hygiene from Lane Community College. She has been with Dr. Stambaugh for more than 29 years, which she enjoys because they share the same commitment to providing the best dental care for their patients. Paula wants to thank all of the patients that they see of two, three, and four generations at Stambaugh Family Dental!
She has a passion for cleaning teeth and taking care of patients, and she enjoys watching children grow up and expand their lives. The opportunity to "spread joy" is without a doubt the best!
A fourth-generation Oregonian, Paula and her husband Mark have been happily married for 42 years. The couple and their families have been actively involved in their communities. Paula has many hobbies, including genealogy, embroidery, baking, gardening, and taking daily walks.
ReNae
Front Desk Administrator
ReNae has been in the dental profession for more than 35 years, the last four of which have been with Dr. Stambaugh. She obtained her degree from Lane Community College in 1979, and her experience includes 22 years with oral surgeons and 13 years with endodontists. Her goal is to make patients say “that was easy” by ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable when they come for their appointment. ReNae also works hard to help patients navigate the often-complex ins and outs of insurance benefits.
A native of Drain, ReNae now lives in Walterville and enjoys being part of a small community. Outside of work, she loves spending time outdoors gardening and golfing, and being with family and friends.
Caitlinn
Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Caitlinn has been assisting with Stambaugh Family Dental for 7 years. She enjoys the family-like environment of the practice and the warmth each team members shows toward patients. A native of Elmira, Caitlinn enjoys spending time her high school sweetheart and their two beautiful children.
Cindie
Expanded Function Dental Assistant
Eugene native Cindie graduated in 1987 from the Lane Community College dental program, and has 36 years of dental industry experience! She has been with working with Dr. Stambaugh since 2002. She loves working with the rest of her team, who are all genuine, caring people—and “not just people I work with.”
Outside of work Cindie enjoys spending time with her husband on their 10 quiet acres in west Eugene, taking care of their dog, cat, and chickens. In addition, she enjoys gardening and looks forward to adding a greenhouse to the property.
Anna
Patient Service Coordinator
Anna has been with Stambaugh Family Dental for more than 18 years, priding herself on ensuring patients receive the best possible dental experience when they come in. She studied to be a dental assistant at Apollo College in Portland.
She grew up in Silverton, and in her spare time, Anna likes to spend time with her family and friends, as well as reading and exercising.
Georgie
Dental Hygienist
Georgie is a local girl raised in the Eugene area and is a graduate of Marist High School. She attended Lane Community College where she received her dental hygiene degree in 2014; she has been with Stambaugh Family Dental for two years. Georgie is passionate about getting to know her patients on a personal level to help provide them with proper care of their teeth in a comfortable environment.
Dentistry has always been in Georgie’s blood: Both of her parents are retired dental hygienists and two of her brothers are dentists. As the mother of three young boys, she has learned that personalities vary from person to person, which has helped to fine-tune the dental care she provides.
She enjoys crocheting as well as camping, fishing, and hiking with her children.
Rebecca Hagen
Dental Hygienist
Born and raised in Springfield Oregon, Becca has been a dental hygienist since graduating from Lane Community College in 2015. She loves educating her patients on their oral health and believes that creating a healthy oral environment leads to overall better health. She prides herself in staying current with the latest research in preventative oral health care. Her professionalism and commitment is noticeably reflected in her positive attitude and delivery of care. She has devoted her time to creating beautiful smiles and building strong relationships with her patients.
In her free time, Becca loves being with her two boys. She also loves adventuring outdoors, doing activities like hiking, camping, riding quads on the Oregon National Dunes.
